Merkphobia reveals that he has lost all his magical powers and declares his intention to live among the citizens of Ermina as a human being. Returning to the Magia Dragon, Elefseria finds that Mercphobia has been sealed away and begins to believe that Natsu and the Fairy Tail wizards will complete the remaining 100-year impossible quest.


The episode then cuts to the Diabolos guild, where fans are introduced to guildmaster Georg Reizen, who reports to the Fairy Tail wizards and Dragon Eaters' feud with Natsu, while the rest report back to Ermina. At work, Sting, Rogue, Tsukino, Angel, Lector, and Frosch visit the Fairy Tail guild, only to find it completely abandoned with no members to be seen.
