- The Immortal’s centuries worth of experience and resurrection powers solidify his status as one of Earth’s most durable fighters.
- As Mark Grayson grows stronger in Invincible, his Viltrumite DNA gives him unparalleled speed, stamina, and strength, surpassing Earth’s heroes.
After Invincible season 2’s chaotic story, the balance of power in the show looks significantly different from the end of season 1. Invincible season 2 continued Mark’s journey as a hero, as the protagonist faced tougher challenges than ever. While Mark and some of the show’s other central characters have grown even stronger, some brand-new introductions mean Invincible‘s power rankings have completely changed compared to season 1. With Invincible season 2’s ending setting up a potential war between Earth’s greatest heroes and the Viltrumites, the strength of each character has never been more important in Amazon’s hit superhero series.
Invincible has already shown some serious progression when it comes to certain characters’ abilities, making them more powerful than first expected. While there are plenty of physically impressive fighters in the show, some characters’ power comes from their unique skills or unmatched intellect. With two seasons officially complete, Invincible has started to give an idea of which characters will become the strongest, but not everyone has fulfilled their potential just yet. Therefore, given what the show has presented so far, these are the 15 most powerful Invincible characters after season 2’s finale.

10 New Invincible Characters We’re Excited To Meet In Season 3
Invincible season 3 is on the way, and all kinds of new characters could appear based on the comics. So, here are the 10 we’re most excited for.
15 Titan
Titan’s Invincible Season 1 Appearance Shows He Can Go Toe-To-Toe With Powerful Enemies
Despite only appearing in one episode so far, Titan has made a huge impression and is still among Invincible‘s most powerful characters after season 2. Titan’s ability to create a rock-hard exterior gives him superhuman strength alongside increased durability and speed, making him a tough character. However, what sets him out from others with enhanced powers is his motivation and cunning nature, which allows him to work his way up the criminal ladder.
Titan could be even stronger when he returns in season 3.
His desire to protect his daughter could be seen as a weakness and is even exploited, but it also shows the extreme lengths he is willing to go to. Titan may not be evil by nature, but his commitment to his family even allowed him to manipulate Mark and fight alongside the hero, only to return to criminality. While he may still have good morals deep down, he is not the type of character anyone would want to cross as he held his own against several strong villains, and Titan could become even stronger when he returns in season 3.
14 Damien Darkblood
The Demonic Figure’s Paranormal Powers Make Him One Of Invincible’s Most Mysterious Characters
Like Titan, Damien Darkblood hasn’t been seen since season 1, but the demon’s paranormal powers demonstrate how strong he is. Although he was out to help Cecil and the GDA, he was exorcised and forced to return to hell, partly because of how difficult he is to control. Damien can see intel on crimes simply by touching evidence, meaning his ability to uncover the truth is a threat to everyone, including the GDA. Alongside this, he is able to teleport and has expert detective skills, proving he is one of Invincible‘s smartest characters.
His combat skills have yet to be shown in the show, and there is no guarantee that he poses a huge physical threat; however, his intuition goes beyond human capabilities, confirming how powerful he is. Invincible hasn’t introduced a character who is able to match Damien’s detective work, and the fact that even Omni-Man was spooked about the demon uncovering his secret is a perfect illustration of just how persistent the otherworldly being is.
13 Rex Sloan AKA Rex Splode
Rex Is Invincible’s Ultimate Underdog
Although he was once one of the franchise’s most insufferable characters, Rex Splode changed for the better in Invincible season 2 and is among the show’s strongest characters. When his powers were first revealed, they didn’t warrant such a cocky attitude, considering they appeared vastly inferior to most other heroes and villains out there. However, season 2 showed that his powers aren’t what make Rex so dangerous, it’s his underdog spirit.
While Rex usually takes most situations lightly, seeing him finally lock in and fight to his full capacity proved he is a force to be reckoned with. Rex’s ability to make explosives as well as his hand-to-hand combat took a serious step forward in season 2 as he single-handedly took down the Lizard League’s strongest members. He killed Iguana by splitting her body in half with his kinetic energy, blew up Komodo Dragon’s head after his hand was bitten off, and even beat King Lizard to death after being shot in the head, showing his true potential.
12 The Mauler Twins
The Villainous Duo Possess A Deadly Combination Of Intelligence & Strength
The Mauler Twins are often used to provide an element of comic relief in Invincible, but that doesn’t take away from how intimidating they are. They have escaped jail on multiple occasions and are scientific geniuses despite their slightly clumsy nature, meaning they shouldn’t be underlooked. Alongside being incredibly smart, the Mauler Twins are also brutes who can do some serious damage in a fight and pose a real threat to those who come into conflict with them.
Their regenerative powers and ability to clone themselves when one dies makes them nearly impossible to take down permanently, which could make for some more fun storylines in Invincible season 3. Even though many of the Mauler Twins’ plans have fallen through or been foiled, they have continued to land on their feet and even outlasted those employing them. While they may never make it to the top of Invincible‘s most dangerous villains list, they are still an incredibly powerful duo who won’t be beaten easily and have plenty more to offer going forward.
11 Rudy AKA Robot
Robot’s Impressive Intellect Is Beyond Any Other Character In The Show
Rudy may be the smartest character Prime Video’s series has showcased so far. He managed to create a robotic body followed by a human one since his own body was weakened and couldn’t function without scientific assistance. His brilliant mind is also what has allowed him to not only lead the Guardians of the Globe but also fight alongside them. While Rudy clearly couldn’t protect anyone in his normal body, his identity as Robot allowed him to face off against some of the toughest enemies without putting himself at risk.
Even after getting a human body, Rudy still links his mind to the robot as it is a safe yet effective way of engaging in combat. His engineering skills have also enabled him to equip it with missiles while also emitting sound waves, making him one of Invincible‘s most versatile heroes. Despite his original body being weak, his mind is easily the sharpest in the series; therefore, combining this with such a technologically advanced robot makes Rudy one of the show’s most powerful characters.

10 Invincible Voice Actors That Could Play Their Characters In Live-Action Too
Invincible has a variety of fantastic voice actors who would be the perfect candidates to reprise their roles in the live-action adaptation.
10 Angstrom Levy
Angstrom Levy’s Multiversal Powers Are Uniquely Powerful
Season 2’s overarching antagonist had a strangely limited role, yet he still managed to become one of Invincible‘s most powerful characters. While Angstrom Levy was initially introduced as a pacifist who wanted to help people, his accident led to him becoming a vengeful villain who was desperate to make Mark suffer in every dimension. His unique ability to travel through seemingly infinite universes provided him the sort of power that no other character can truly match or counter.
This may not seem overly useful in combat, but the season 2 finale showed his powers in action against Mark. With Angstrom Levy hellbent on killing Invincible, he sent him to multiple different dimensions where Mark had to face a variety of opponents, which proved to be an exhausting challenge. Although Levy himself packs a powerful punch and is relatively strong, his portals allow him to tire out his opponents without breaking a sweat. Levy could also send his enemies to another dimension and close the portal, leaving them no way home which proves just how much power he possesses.
9 Atom Eve
Atom Eve’s Powers Have Nearly Unlimited Potential
The spotlight may not have been on Atom Eve in Invincible season 2, but it continued to prove how versatile her powers are. Eve’s powers allow her to manipulate matter, meaning there is almost no limit to what she is capable of. While this allows her to do mundane things like change a sandwich into a burger, it also allows her to fly, mount unique attacks, and protect herself and her allies from incoming danger. Invincible season 2 also highlighted that Eve can use her abilities to repair damaged neighborhoods, meaning her powers aren’t only useful in combat.
She will be one of the show’s most formidable heroes.
At this point in the series, Atom Eve is definitely still a work in progress, with her powers containing a lot of flaws despite their potential. Her skill set is already super flexible, but Eve still has a lot more development to come, and once she has mastered her abilities, she will be one of the show’s most formidable heroes. Given Atom Eve still has secret powers to be introduced, there is no doubt she can become one of the strongest Invincible characters in the future.
8 The Immortal
The Immortal Has Thousands Of Years Worth Of Fighting Experience
As his name suggests, The Immortal is one of the most durable characters in Invincible, due to his inability to die. The Immortal has been around for thousands of years, making him one of the most capable fighters on Earth. He has many classic superhero traits, such as super strength, the ability to fly, and strong leadership skills. Although Omni-Man decapitated him, The Immortal was the only member of The Guardians of the Globe to survive the Viltrumite’s attack, resulting in him leading the new version of the group.
Living for thousands of years has led to severe trauma, but this hasn’t stopped The Immortal from maintaining his power, as he faced off against Omni-Man once again and landed some strong blows, proving he can hurt him. However, both times he has faced off against Omni-man, he has suffered decisive defeats, showcasing the big power difference between humans and Viltrumites. Still, The Immortal’s durability and resurrection powers confirm that he remains one of Invincible‘s most powerful characters.
7 Cecil Steadman
Cecil’s GDA Control Makes Him Surprisingly Powerful
While Cecil may not possess the same physical capabilities as Invincible‘s toughest characters, he is still incredibly powerful. Cecil’s teleportation allows him to avoid danger and travel to locations incredibly fast, but this isn’t his most crucial trait. As the director of the Global Defence Agency, Cecil is incredibly intelligent and has access to some of the most valuable weapons and technology around, which allowed him to keep Donald alive in Invincible season 2 despite his supposed death.
Cecil even used DA Sinclair’s twisted use of cyborgs to his own advantage, deploying them to slow down Omni-Man during his season 1 rampage. He also has access to Earth’s most powerful heroes, as he oversees the Guardians of the Globe and has an arrangement with Invincible. He may not be able to defeat his enemies one-on-one, but his ruthless nature makes him a master of exploiting weaknesses, even those that he works with. Therefore, Cecil is easily one of Invincible‘s smartest and most cunning characters, highlighting how much power he has.
6 Mark Grayson
Invincible’s Protagonist Has Gotten Significantly Stronger Over The Show’s Two Seasons
Considering Mark Grayson is Invincible‘s protagonist, it is no surprise that he is one of the show’s most powerful characters, but he has become even stronger in season 2. Despite losing fight after fight, Mark has continued to get back up and has shown resilience, just like his superhero name suggests. While the Invincible mantra represents his durability, it also has a deeper meaning, as Mark’s mental toughness and ability to fight through pain and trauma is one of his greatest assets.
Mark Grayson’s powers in Invincible are complicated, but he resembles many of the same traits as his father, despite showing more vulnerability at this point in the show. His Viltrumite DNA means his speed, stamina, and strength are all greater than any of Earth’s heroes, and his abilities could still develop more. Having faced off against Angstrom Levy, Viltrumites, and even his own father, Mark has proven just how strong he is and he will only become even more powerful as the seasons progress.

5 Allen the Alien
Allen’s Latest Upgrades Means He Can Go Toe-To-Toe With Viltrumites
Allen the Alien appeared as though he might be little more than comic relief when he was first introduced, but after season 2, he is one of the show’s most powerful characters. While Allen is still one of Invincible‘s funniest characters, he is also one of the strongest fighters in the entire show. Season 2, episode 3 appeared to have killed off Allen after he was beaten badly by Viltrumites and put on life support, which was tampered with by Thaedus.
He became much more powerful than he was before his injuries.
This seemed to suggest Allen’s run on the show had reached an abrupt end, but he managed to survive which made him even stronger. Allen’s upgrades meant he became even tougher and more durable, allowing him to draw blood from Viltrumites and seemingly handle their strikes confidently. He became much more powerful than he was before his injuries and is now one of the biggest threats to the Viltrum empire, meaning that Allen the Alien incredibly strong after Invincible season 2.
4 Battle Beast
Battle Beast’s Invincible Introduction Makes Him One Of The Show’s Most Menacing Characters
Although Battle Beast hasn’t been seen since season 1, he remains one of Invincible‘s most menacing characters. His only appearance on the show came in season 1, episode 5, where – alongside a number of other villains – he faced off against Invincible and Titan. While Mark was still learning his abilities and was obviously weaker here than in season 2, he was demolished by Battle Beast. Even when the new Guardians of the Globe came to assist, Battle Beast was the one villain who comfortably held his own.
Had it not been for the antagonist finding the fight boring, Mark could have been killed there and then alongside a large chunk of the show’s central heroes, showcasing just how powerful Battle Beast is. The full extent of his abilities has yet to be displayed in Invincible, but when he inevitably returns, he will provide a huge threat. There aren’t many characters who look capable of beating a Viltrumite currently, but Battle Beast’s debut suggests he’d have a strong chance, cementing him as one of Invincible‘s most intimidating foes.
3 Lucan
Lucan Is One Of The Most Powerful Viltrumites In Invincible Season 2
Like Battle Beast, Lucan has only had one episode to fully showcase his powers, but he looks absolutely terrifying so far. Only a few characters have posed much of a threat to Omni-man throughout Invincible‘s two seasons, but Lucan arguably did more damage to him than anyone else, including the entire Guardians of the Globe members combined. He managed to overpower Omni-Man during their fight and survived having his stomach ripped open as well as being impaled.
Despite sustaining these graphic injuries, he still managed to return to the fight and seemingly break Omni-Man’s back with a single kick. This single fight revealed how resilient and strong Lucan is, and that he will likely be one of the Viltrumite’s toughest fighters in the impending war. At this stage in the show, Lucan definitely looks stronger than Mark and potentially on par with Omni-Man, indicating that there are very few Invincible characters tougher than him.
2 Anissa
Anissa’s Debut Showed How Much Stronger She Is Than Mark
Anissa’s short time on the show has already demonstrated just how dangerous she is. While Anissa’s controversial comic moment often defines her character, her strength and brutality shouldn’t be taken lightly. Anissa was much stronger than Mark in Invincible season 2, as the protagonist could barely lay a finger on her upon the Viltrumite’s arrival. She already looks like one of the fastest characters in the series, and she was also able to take down a creature that Mark has significant difficulties dealing with.
Despite how powerful she is, Allen was able to make her bleed, suggesting she does still have some potential weaknesses. However, Allen let himself get captured, making it unclear who would have won the fight had they both gone all out. Anissa’s early moments in Invincible suggest she is one of the strongest Viltrumites so far and won’t be taken down easily, meaning she can go toe-to-toe with anyone. With Anissa likely having more powerful moments to come, she could even take the number one spot by the end of season 3.
1 Omni-Man
Omni-Man Remains The Most Dangerous Character In Invincible
Omni-Man may have finished Invincible season 2 in captivity, but he is still the show’s most powerful character. Despite his broken back in the midseason finale, he looks close to full strength by episode 8, suggesting he can heal quickly. This was already displayed in season 1 after his fight against the Guardians of the Globe, indicating that he is one of the fastest healers in the show. More significantly, Omni-Man has shown more physical capabilities than anyone, murdering and defeating countless other heroes.
While he looks to have turned a corner and is trying to find redemption, Omni-Man is still dangerous and has held his own against multiple Viltrumites at once. Even if Lucan got the better of him, no one has stood tall in victory against Omni-Man, and it could take multiple of Invincible‘s strongest characters teaming up to take him down for good. He has defeated some of the show’s strongest fighters and caused gruesome deaths with his bare hands, making him Invincible‘s most powerful character after season 2.
