Al Pacino Reveals His Near-Death COVID Experience

Nearly four years after contracting Covid-19 in 2020, actor Al Pacino reveals harrowing details of his near-death experience ahead of his book Sonny Child, a moment to tell From his childhood in the South Bronx to his time in America Godfather and beyond.

“So I found someone who could get me a nurse to give me fluids. I was sitting in my house and I was gone. Like this. I had no pulse. They were there in a few minutes; the ambulance arrived. In front of my house,” he said. “There were about six paramedics and two doctors in that living room, and they were wearing clothes that looked like they came from outer space.”

Raised as a Catholic, Godfather The actor stated that he never thought about what death might look like and said, “I didn't see any white light.”
