Star Wars Rebels introduced viewers to several new Force users, each facing a different fate at the end of the series. Because the story is set after the Jedi purge Star Wars prequel trilogy, there were fewer Force users during this period. The team is behind Star Wars Rebels was trying to recapture the magic of the original Star Wars A trilogy with the hero learning about the larger galaxy and how the Force works. So having a handful of Force users helped ground the show by making it special when a new one was introduced.
Even so, Star Wars Rebels still featured many notable Force users created specifically for the series. Some even appeared in bound books and shorts before making their proper screen debut on the show. Star Wars Rebels also introduced Force users returning from the past Star Wars movies and TV shows to complement the new characters. From Jedi-in-training to Imperial Inquisitors, Star Wars Rebels featured eight notable Force users over four seasons.
8 Grand Inquisitor
First Appearance: Star Wars Rebels 1 season, 1 episode “Spark of Rebellion”
The Grand Inquisitor, known simply as “the inquisitor” in season 1, first appeared at the end of the film. Star Wars Rebels premiere, but later releases added a scene between him and Darth Vader at the beginning. As the leader of the other inquisitors, The Grand Inquisitor was charged with hunting down the Jedi survivors and any Force-sensitive children who might oppose the Empire. When Agent Kallus discovers Nightmare the crew was led by a Jedi who contacted the Grand Inquisitor, who made it his mission to hunt down the rebels.
The Grand Inquisitor was eventually defeated in a lightsaber duel with Kanan Jarrus and fell to his death rather than face the wrath of Darth Vader. In Star Wars Rebels In season 2, Kanan learned in a vision The Grand Inquisitor was once a Jedi Temple Wardenand Dave Filoni confirmed that he was one of the guards who arrested Barriss Offee. 7 Ezra Bridger

Ezra Bridger was the main character of the film Star Wars Rebelstransforms from a street rat into a powerful Jedi. After his parents were imprisoned for defying the Empire, Ezra had to fend for himself until he met her. Nightmare crew and joined them as mutineers. Kanan Jarrus realized that Ezra was sensitive to the Force and agreed to train him as a Jedi, even though the road was long and difficult for both of them. Ezra fought alongside the Rebellion for years and gained the respect of many of his friends and allies, all of whom agreed to help liberate his home planet of Lothol from the Empire.
During the Battle of Lothol, Ezra summoned the purrgil, a group of space whales capable of traveling through hyperspace. In order to stop Grand Admiral Thrawn and eliminate him as a threat, Ezra allowed himself to disappear into the far reaches of space and his friends searched for him for years. In Ahsoka In season 1, they found him in another galaxy on a planet called Peridea, where he lived a peaceful life with the natives. Ezra was able to return to his galaxy and reunited with Hera Sindulla, and only time will tell what adventure awaits him next.
6 Canaan Jarrus

Kanan Jarrus was born Caleb Dume and raised as a JediJedi Master Depa serves as Billaba's Padawan. When the 66th commandment was fulfilled, Caleb wanted to defend his master, but was told to flee and the guilt would haunt him for years. He took the name Kanan Jarrus and went into hiding, eventually meeting Hera Syndulla. Together they crewed and formed their own rebel cell and helped fight the Empire wherever they could.
The Nightmare the crew later encountered Ezra Bridger during a heist on Lothold, and Kanan took him in as a Padawan. Although the two struggled at first, they became irresistible as master and apprentice, and the crew became Ezra's family. Their relationship was tested again when Kanan was blinded by Darth Maul on Malachor, but Kanan bounced back and became a more powerful Jedi than before. Kanan sacrificed himself to save his friends from the explosionand Hera later gave birth to their son, Jacen Syndulla.
5 Sabine Wren
First Appearance: Star Wars Rebels 1 season, 1 episode “Spark of Rebellion”
Sabine Wren was a Mandalorian who dropped out of the Imperial Academy after the weapons he helped create were used against his own people. He eventually met Kanan Jarrus and Hera Sindulla, joining their crew and coming to see them as his new family. Time Nightmare the crew discovers an ancient Mandalorian lightsaber that can unite their people, Sabine trains Kanan to use the blade properly. He helped the Mandalorians lead a rebellion against the Empire, passing the Sword of Darkness to Bo-Katan Kryze, whom many believed to be the rightful ruler of Mandalore.
Although Sabine has never been described as a Force user Star Wars RebelsKanan began to study it. This aspect of Sabine's character was explored Ahsoka season 1, which revealed that Ahsoka had become Tano's Padawan after the events of the series. The two had a falling out when Sabine's people were massacred by the Empire, but they reunited to find Ezra Bridger. Sabine was finally able to use the Force on Perideabut when Ezra escapes and returns home, he and Ahsoka find themselves stranded in another galaxy.
4 The Fifth Brother
First Appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 4 “Remnants of the Old Republic”
At the end after the death of the Grand Inquisitor Star Wars Rebels season 1, more inquisitors were tasked with hunting Nightmare the crew. The first to be introduced was the Fifth Brother, a former Jedi from the planet Artemesium. followed Nightmare the crew mercilessly engages in multiple lightsaber duels with Ezra Bridger, Kanan Jarrus, and even Ahsoka Tano. However, he was ultimately no match for Maul, dying by Malachor's hand Star Wars Rebels Season 2 finale.
The Fifth Brother continued to appear in several stories placed in front of the events Star Wars Rebels. 3 The Seventh Sister
First Appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 5 “There's Always Two”
The Seventh Sister was introduced in the appropriately titled season 2 episode “There's Always Two” right after the Fifth Brother. What set him apart from other inquisitors were his droids, which could be used to spy on his enemies or aid him in battle. While the Fifth Brother is more stern and direct, The Seventh Sister liked to tease and question her prey.
As the Fifth Brother, he was no match for Maul in Malachor. Maul held him in place with the Force and ordered Ezra Bridger to shoot him, but when Ezra failed, Maul killed him himself. The Seventh Sister has also appeared in stories such as Marvel Darth Vader comics, Star Wars: The Inquisitor – Rise of the Red Blade By Delilah S. Dawson and Star Wars: Inquisitors By Rodney Barnes and Ramon Rosanas.
2 The Eighth Brother
First Appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 2, Episode 21 “The Apprentice's Twilight: Part 1”
Of all Force users submitted Star Wars Rebels, The Eighth Brother had the least amount of screen time. He only appeared in the season 2 finale, following Maul to Malachor, but was surprised to see three Jedi arrive as well. He and the other Inquisitors battled the Jedi and Maul, but were defeated, so the Eight Brothers attempted to fly, using his spinning lightsaber as a propeller. Unfortunately, his arm was injured and he fell to his death from the top of the Sith Temple.
1 Bendu
First Appearance: Star Wars Rebels Season 3, Episode 1 “Steps into the Shadows: Part One”
While all other Force users log in Star Wars Rebels Adhering to either the light or the dark side, Bendu declared himself to be the one in the middle. Although Kanan reluctantly helped Yarrus when he came to seek advice, Bendu confirmed that he was not involved in the conflict. He was furious when the Empire brought war to his planet, but also blamed the Rebels. He unleashed his full power to drive everyone off the planet, and after being shot either became one with the Force or disappeared elsewhere.
