How to Find Rare Chests in Fortnite

To find a rare chest, players have to go to the biggest places Fortnite the island. While going off the beaten path is a perfect strategy, rare chests are most often found in key locations and landmarks like Castle Doom or The Raft. Fortunately, these places have a lot more to offer, including plenty of floor booty and some Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 NPCs.
Landmarks such as the railroad near Castle Doom are prime locations for Rare Chests to spawn. Rare chests are more often discovered in the most interesting areas of the island, which attract players based on unique features or sights. It should be noted that large locations are often hotly contested due to the amount of loot that can be found. So players who manage to open more than one or two Rare Chests per match will be lucky.
Players should also look out for special Doctor Doom and Avengers Chests this season. These drop high quality seasonal items like Captain America's Shield or War Machine's Arsenal.
Seasonal items tend to be very powerful and are almost always worth getting.
Alternatively, one of the best ways to find Blue Chests is to check the Weapon Bunkers as shown on the map below:

In my experience, visiting the Gun Bunkers is the easiest way to complete this task Fortnite search quickly. Unlike Named Locations, these are not marked, so some players may not know to look out for them. But that doesn't mean you won't have competition.
