Apple's Rejection With Cate Blanchett Brings Back One Of The Best Parts Of The Oscars, $723M Sci-Fi

Apple's new mystery thriller series Refusal sees the long-awaited meeting of the famous director-filmmaker duo. Cate Blanchett leads the talented cast Refusal As Catherine Ravenscroft, a hard-working and popular television documentary journalist from London, England. Refusal Sacha Baron Cohen also plays the role of RobertCody Smith-McPhee as Nicholas, Catherine's husband, Robert and Catherine's son, and Kevin Kline as Stephen Brigstock, a local Londoner who has lost his wife and son.

Lubezki and Cuarón were both born in Mexico City and have been friends since they were teenagers.
