Batman's new bat suit has a weapon that should become standard

Warning! Spoilers for Absolute Power #2!He gave a brand new bat suit Batman a powerful weapon that has the potential to become a standard for future suits. The heroes of the DC Universe are on the run after Amanda Waller's Amazon de-energizes nearly every metahuman. But this crisis could help Bruce Wayne find equipment that could become a permanent addition to his usual gadgets.

In Absolute Power #2 By Mark Waid and Dan Mora, the remaining heroes gather at the Fortress of Solitude to devise a plan. Unfortunately, just as Batman and his allies put on backup equipment, Waller sends the Brainiac Queen, Jon Kent, and one of his Task Force VII agents to retrieve them all.

Batman runs off to get the Phantom Zone Projector until he is cornered by the Amazo Global Guardian. Android taunts the Dark Knight by asking what cool toys his new bat suit has. only for Batman to activate the ultrasonics hidden in his gloves.

Batman's New Gloves can project High Frequency Ultra-Sonics

In an instant, the heroes' world went to hell. Waller turned the public against metahumans by making AI-generated videos showing superheroes attacking civilians. After the heroes emerged to defend themselves, Waller launched Task Force VII, which used Amazo technology to siphon the powers of the world's greatest superheroes. Many metahumans were depowered and imprisoned in Waller's prison on the island of Gamorrah. However, some managed to escape and ran away, putting up a small but dedicated resistance against Waller, trying to end the “threat” of metahumans once and for all.

Despite the dire circumstances Batman is currently in, this spare batsuit and his special gloves could be a godsend. Aside from being able to deal serious damage to a Global Guardian, it's just a cool weapon hidden in the most inconspicuous places. Who can expect sound impulses from a guy who prefers to use his hands to strike? Granted, this is an emergency, so obviously Bruce is going to adopt technology he wouldn't normally be able to use. But Batman should consider making these high frequency gloves a mainstay in his arsenal..

Batman's new gloves would be his regular villains worst nightmare

No one likes loud, piercing noises, so the regular thugs and crooks that the Caped Crusader deals with really hate these things. But aside from being incredibly grating, these gloves would be incredibly effective against tougher villains like Clayface or Man-Bat. They're not lethal, which is in Batman's wheelhouse, and they eliminate any power mismatch when Bruce fights villains that are a little more durable. Sure, these gloves aren't as flashy or fun as Batarangs, but they can seriously help in a life-or-death situation. Batman from any traffic jam he ran into.
