Brad Pitt has been acting in movies for nearly four decades and has starred in iconic films such as: Interview with the Vampire, Fight ClubAnd Mr. and Mrs. SmithThe 60-year-old Oscar-winning actor is entering a long-awaited new phase in his career.
Pitt made headlines when he said he was in the “last leg” or “last semester or trimester” of his career in 2022. Pitt clarified the sentiment behind that statement in an interview with GQ on August 13.
“I meant it in terms of seasons,” he explained. “You know, there was the move from the safety of the Ozarks. You embark on this thing and it's all about discovery and it's really exciting and interesting and painful and scary and all of that. And then when you're allowed to play in the big leagues, it becomes another game of responsibility and things to answer for. But also opportunity and pleasure and working with people you really respect. And then now this time. It's: What about these final years?”
“When you're in your 80s, the body becomes weaker. And yet I look at Frank Gehry. He's just the loveliest guy. And he's 95 and he's still making amazing art and he's got a beautiful family. And I think that's the formula for staying creative and continuing to love your life,” she added.
Pitt to star alongside George Clooney in upcoming film WolvesIt will be released on September 20.
