Of course, this can lead to a number of problems when dealing with legal documents.
A British couple learned some of these obstacles the hard way. Their son was born on May 4, 2017, at the annual Star Wars The day is so Star Wars fans knew they had to give him a special name. They chose the unique name of Loki Skywalker Mowbray.
The family were planning to go on holiday to the Dominican Republic next month, but when they tried to obtain Loki Skywalker's passport, the UK Home Office, similar to the US Foreign Office, informed them that they could not process the application because “Skywalker” was a registered name by Disney. Therefore, they would need to obtain permission from the entertainment industry in order to obtain a passport.
“We were not aware that this could be a potential problem,” said Father Christian Mowbray Suffolk News“We are aware that Loki's middle name is copyrighted, but we have no intention of using it for personal gain.”

Fortunately, the problem was resolved and they continue their vacation.
