Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 Trailer Hints At Budokai Tenkaichi 4 News

The Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 trailer seems to be subtly hinting that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 news could be revealed at the event.

Earlier this year, Dragon Ball Z fans received the news that we’ve all been waiting 16 years to hear – a new Budokai Tenkaichi game is officially in development. Despite lighting the internet on fire when it was announced at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023, we’ve heard nothing about the game since beyond some rumours placing it as a 2024 release.

DBZ: Kakarot’s Tenkaichi Budokai DLC Proves We Need An OG Dragon Ball Game

Kakarot’s latest DLC finally gives Dragon Ball the respect it deserves.

That painful lack of information has had Dragon Ball fans hoping to see Budokai Tenkaichi 4 at pretty much every Bandai Namco and gaming event that has followed, only to end up being severely let down. Considering the long-awaited sequel was announced at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour, the leading theory is that more information is going to be revealed at 2024’s event, which is looking a lot more likely thanks to a trailer that was shared yesterday.

At first glance, the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 trailer seems fairly standard and doesn’t have anything too noteworthy in it, as it seems to just reconfirm things we already knew, like a special Dragon Ball panel that will share news on Daima. However, as spotted by Twitter user DrLoveYT, the trailer does seem to be subtly hinting at Budokai Tenkaichi 4 news being at the event.

Towards the end of the trailer, a “special Dragon Ball panel” is mentioned (which we know will include Daima) and then followed up by a collage of images with the caption “let’s have fun together”. In the top left corner of that collage, you can clearly see a screenshot from the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 trailer, complete with the same old TV and gameplay footage that was used for the reveal.

Although it could just be a nod to Budokai Tenkaichi 4 being announced at the last Battle Hour since it’s a screenshot from the reveal, its inclusion here after a year of radio silence does seem to indicate that it could show up at the event. At the very least, it’s a reminder of the big reveal and Battle Hour’s involvement in it, which makes it the perfect place for more information.

I Wish You Didn’t Have To Finish Swinging To Switch Weapons In Tears Of The Kingdom

I’m tired of trying to swap weapons, seeing that I can’t do it yet, going back to gameplay, and waiting a second for Link to stop swinging.
