With fall quickly approaching, Dunkin' is gearing up for the season in a big way by expanding its increasingly popular product line.
Dunkin' announced its first limited seasonal offer for its Spiked Iced Coffee line, which puts an alcoholic twist on the fall favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte, on August 7. Unlike a typical pumpkin spice latte served hot, the new Spiked Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte is designed to cool you down on these late summer days as fall looms on the horizon.
In a statement about the new product, Dunkin' described the new spiced iced latte as “a rich, creamy, and delicious beverage with the perfect balance of sweet pumpkin, vanilla, and fall spices,” and added, “[s] It's the taste consumers know and love from Dunkin's Pumpkin Spice Latte.” And you don't have to drink it from the can to make it, the company suggests pouring it over ice and topping it with whipped cream.
“One of our most anticipated seasonal products, the Pumpkin Spice Latte, has become everyone's favorite comforting seasonal beverage. Realizing this, we knew we had an opportunity to create something special by putting an adult twist on the beloved beverage,” said Brian Gilbert, Dunkin' vice president of retail business development.
“After receiving such an overwhelmingly positive response to our Spiked Iced Coffees just one year into their launch, we felt that Dunkin' Spiked Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte was a natural addition to the lineup. It helps us meet the growing demand from consumers over the age of 21 looking for new flavors to their favorite Dunkin' and fall flavors,” he added.
Dunkin' Spiked Iced Teas and Spiked Iced Coffees are currently available in stores in 27 states.
