As Marvel continues to lead into a new era defined by the might of Doctor Doom, heroes and villains alike will soon bow to Doctor Strange's successor.

Many years later, while speaking with Billy Maximoff, Strange even admits to the young witch that Doctor Doom would be a likely choice for Vishanti to choose as the next Sorcerer Master if he were ever to renounce the title of Sorcerer Supreme. This will become an inevitable reality when the vampire attack is stopped Blood Hunt, Strange bequeathed his mantle to Doctor Doom. The magical monarch immediately proved himself worthy of his new charge, combining all known sources of magic to restore the Darkhold's powers, a feat no wizard had ever accomplished before.

Doctor Strange is right to fear Doctor Doom. Doom is a ruthlessly driven man who will stop at nothing to achieve his vision of world peace. As arrogant and selfish as he is, Victor Von Doom has proven time and time again that he is a master of whatever he dedicates himself to.
