Every Halloween Costume Heidi Klum Has Worn in the Past 24 Years

Heidi Klum threw her first spectacular Halloween party in 2000. Fast forward 24 years and the supermodel's annual bash is more extravagant than ever. This also goes for their costumes. Forget the naughty school girl. Think outside the box, like thousands of years into the future or into the past. The German beauty wore a Garden of Eden-inspired look, transformed into a futuristic alien, and even stripped down (i.e. layers of skin) for a BODIES exhibit-inspired outfit.

Here are our favorite Halloween looks that Klum has rocked over the years. You won't find easy Halloween costumes for men, but you will find some incredible partner makeovers and you'll be amazed at how Klum is the Queen of Halloween.

2000: Ownership

Heidi Klum stepped out with a sweet yet sultry look to kick off her first Halloween party. It paved the way for more elaborate costumes over the next 20 years.

2001: Lady Godiva

Klum wore an ultra-long blonde wig and a white dress to represent Lady Godiva.

What better way to enter than to arrive on horseback? Klum paid homage to the Anglo-Saxon noblewoman with this outfit. She donned a crystal dazzling dress and long blonde wig to get into character.

2002: Betty Boop

Heidi Klum gave Betty Boop a vampy look.

Klum brought the animated cartoon Betty Boop to life for the party in 2002. The signature curls, extra-long lashes, and vampy red dress were clearly visible.

2003: Gilded Alien

Klum represented an alien from a galaxy far, far away in this golden number.

One of the most abstract concepts in Klum's costume collection, this alien number turned heads with its shimmering gold body glitter, braided hair, and elaborate headpiece.

2004: The Witch

A vision in red, Klum wore a unique witch costume in 2004.

Most people go the all-black route for their witch costume, but Klum opted for fire engine red. Lace-up boots, an impressive wig and an oversized witch's hat were the key pieces of resistance.

2005: Vampire

2006: Garden of Eden

In 2006, Klum was the apple of everyone's eye with this Garden of Eden-inspired costume. Her then-husband, Seal, humorously dressed as Eve. On the other hand, who can say no to a couple's costume with Klum?

2007: Cat

In 2007, the German beauty accompanied every girl's Halloween favorite: the cat costume. Only he went further and donned his full body suit, complete with tail, ears and whiskers. A podium-worthy cat seems appropriate.

2008: Goddess of Destruction

Heidi Klum's 2008 Halloween costume went over the top with its depiction of Kali, the Hindu goddess of destruction.

The supermodel was devoted to ancient Hindu history and lots of blue dye (and sleeves, for that matter) when she appeared as Kali, the goddess of time, change and destruction, at her annual bash in 2008. This is one of Klum's most recognizable costumes, and it preceded the blueface craze by just a year. avatar hit the silver screen.

2009: Black Bird

2010: Robot

In 2010, Sports Illustrated The model took Halloween to epic proportions by stepping into an eight-foot-tall alien costume. Barely recognizable, with her purple skin and red hair, she looked like something out of a comic book. Hero or villain, this alien transformer costume is definitely the coolest of your collection.

2011: Visible Woman

In 2011, the former Victoria's Secret Angel ditched her clothes and lingerie and, wait for it; skin! One of his more memorable costumes, this muscular costume was eerily real. Klum looked like she had walked out of the BODIES exhibition and onto the red carpet of her party. This arrangement gives a completely new meaning to x-ray vision. She told X: “My Visible Woman costume is my favorite costume of all time! Martin Izquierdo did the costume and Bill Corso did my make-up!”

2011: Monkey

Insanely realistic, Klum and Seal loved this monkey costume.

This year we had the chance to witness Klum don two costumes. She and her then-husband Seal were dressed as monkeys. Planet Ascension of the Apes was released in August 2011 and was an inspiration.

2012: Golden Cleopatra

In 2012, Klum decided to cancel her annual Halloween party following the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. But before Project Runway The presenter and judge announced that her costume would be a gilded Cleopatra. She posed in an extravagant headdress, necklace and a low-cut dress fit for Egyptian royalty. Much less scary, much more glamorous.

2013: Old Woman

In 2013, Klum really surprised us with her Halloween costume. He has a great sense of humor and an excellent Oscar-winning makeup team. Artists transformed the German bombshell into an old woman: age spots, varicose veins, wrinkles and gray hair. Klum had it all. It's clear that Klum would rather die than show up to a party in a lackluster Halloween costume.

2014: Butterfly

Heidi Klum turned into a butterfly in 2014.

Kaleidoscopic wings, huge compound eyes and a gorgeous dress to match; This Halloween costume relied equally on makeup (including body paint) and costume.

2015: Jessica Rabbit

A siren came to life, Heidi Klum brought the cartoon character Jessica Rabbit to life for the 2015 Halloween party.

Icons are symbols, whether fictional or not. Klum's comment on Jessica Rabbit Who blamed Roger Rabbit? right on point. Multiple layered prosthetics were used to give the cartoonish proportions of Jessica Rabbit's facial features; including some major hip and breast enhancements. Purple eyeshadow, gloves and an iconic wig and dress completed the vixen's look.

2016: Klum Clones

You're not just seeing double. Heidi Klum shot with five people who look like her in 2016.

While not a transformation per se, Klum threw her annual Halloween party with five clones. The resemblance was uncanny; up to the neck. They all wore matching suede boots and overalls.

2017: “Thriller” Werewolf

Klum took to the streets of New York to entertain the 'Thriller' werewolf.

Instantly recognizable, Klum entertained audiences in New York City with her role as the werewolf in Michael Jackson's iconic “Thriller” music video. He had a bunch of zombies with him to really seal the deal.

2018: From Fiona shrek

Klum and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, fully committed to the task by wearing these incredibly realistic outfits. The crew spends hours on makeup while adding 15 to 20 pounds of prosthetics and props to make the hands, ears, and Fiona's bust look exactly as in the animation.

2019: Frankenstein Fembot

We're not exactly sure what to call this mix, but it's a Frankenstein meets fembot.

An experiment gone wrong, Klum's costume depicts an otherworldly creature that has just been experimented on. Tubes, staples, and exposed organs formed the basis of this decidedly strange harmony.

2020: The Mummy

The COVID-19 pandemic put a halt to Klum's annual Halloween party, and she celebrated at home with her family.

2021: Zombie Bride

In another DIY costume at home, Klum spread her and her husband's names on gravestones. “Till death do us part,” she captioned the photo.

2022: Worm

For this hysterical 2022 Halloween costume, Klum dressed as a worm and her husband dressed as a fisherman.

One of the weirdest costumes Klum has ever made (and that's saying something) is this complete collection of worms. Her husband signed the agreement because the fisherman was using her as bait.

2023: Peacock

In 2023, Klum enlisted several Cirque du Soleil performers to wear this flamboyant peacock costume. One served as the basis to give his height, while the other five gave detailed poses, while some were used by additional artists to create the raised tail feathers.
