Apart from unfolding a gripping prequel story Rosemary's baby, Apartment 7A also features catchy songs as background music that add weight to its drama. Released after five decades Rosemary's babypremiered in 1968, Apartment 7A begins to unravel some of the major mysteries and questions the original film left behind. Given how Rosemary's baby still considered one of the most influential horror films of all time, Apartment 7A carries the burden of living up to its predecessor while instilling its own identity in the horror genre.


Although Apartment 7A unable to step out of its predecessor's shadow, the mother does a satisfactory job of expanding the film's lore. It may not be as disturbing and scary as the 1968 film, but it still manages to pack enough chills, thrills, and interesting creative choices to make it memorable. At many important points, Apartment 7A it also almost presents itself as a musical, with upbeat background music and dance sequences. These random bursts of color in the film's otherwise dreary story make one wonder what song is playing in its storyline.

Every Song In The Apartment 7A When The Movie Soundtrack Plays

From classical music to covers by Julia Garner, Apartment 7A has a diverse set of music

“Too Darn Hot” by Actor: This track is played in the opening moments of the film, when Terry is rehearsing with his team for an upcoming performance. He doesn't realize that his world will soon be turned upside down.

“Trumpet” by Paul Mottram: A street artist plays this song on his trumpet as Terry walks out, and the title of the movie appears on the screen.

“Fur Elise” by Ludwig van Beethoven: You can listen to Beethoven's classic track Apartment 7A When Terry comes over to Alan's house and opens up to him about how he's been struggling to find new opportunities since his injury.


“The Heart” by Peggy Lee: Terry doesn't tread lightly as Alan drugs him to begin the coven's demonic ritual. As she tries to drag herself out of the room, Peggy Lee's “Heart” plays loudly in the background.

“Jingle Bells” by APM: This song plays around the 40 minute mark Apartment 7A As Terry practices her steps with her new dance team. Terry continues to play the track while attending a costume party at Castevets' place with his friend Annie.

If My Friends Could See Me Now Cast: After attending the party, Terry thanks Annie for supporting him when no one else did, and the two celebrate while singing the tune. To show how much he appreciates her support, Terry also gives Annie a gift.


“Be My Baby” by The Ronettes: This song is played twice Rosemary's baby the prequel movie. The first time is when Terry and Annie remember their audition Fiddler on the Roof. It plays again Apartment 7ATerri's final dance performance at the Castevets' home before she jumps out the window and dies.
