Travis Kelce makes his highly anticipated acting debut in Ryan Murphy's latest FX series Grotesque On Wednesday night, the Kansas City Chiefs appear to be deliberately calculating his post-NFL career. And before the new episode, he made a teaser about the introduction of his character, which has been kept secret until now.
Kelce played the clip in the last episode New Peaks The podcast he hosts with his brother, retired Eagles center Jason Kelce. He revealed for the first time that his character's name is “Ed Lachlan”, but it is not yet clear what his character does.
“You picked Ed? Is this in honor of Ed Kelce?” Jason asked, referring to their father, to which Travis replied “it was just fate.”
In his first scene, Travis is seen interacting with Niecy Nash-Betts' character, who asks him, “Thank you, handsome. What's your name?” he asks. The always suavely charming man smiles and says, “Ed. Ed Lachlan” as he seductively flicks on the lighter.
“Don't act like you know me,” Nash-Betts says with a laugh, to which Travis replies, “I know a little something.”

After watching the clip, Jason said, “I'm not going to lie, you killed it there,” to which Travis called it “full of shit.”
“I want you to stop running. Did you boil the baby or not?” Jason questioned him. “Jason, do I look like I could boil a fucking baby?” he asked, to which his brother replied: “No, you don't. But Ed Lachlan can.”
In the series, Nash-Betts plays Detective Lois Tryon, who must work with a local nun (Micaela Diamond) to get to the root of a series of heinous crimes that affect both their community and their personal lives. The third episode, in which Kelce makes her debut, airs on Wednesday evening at 22:00 on FX.
