In a reunion podcast with former colleague Jodie Sweetin, How rude, Tanneritos! (via People), Barber recalled his reaction to learning this Fuller House Kimmy will introduce her family. He honestly said he was a little nervous that the Netflix spinoff would change his character's established history. Full Househe is afraid that his fans will hold him against him. In fact, Kimmy became the third Tanner sister in the Netflix series. This was against the backdrop of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen refusing to reprise their roles together as Michelle. Fuller House. In the end, it was a good decision to treat him more like a member of the Tanner family Fuller House. While DJ's clan was important to his storyline, Kimmy also played a major role in being the honorary Danny Tanner sister.
