As the long-awaited sequel nears the green light from Warner Bros., George Clooney delivers an intriguing and deadly film. Ocean 14 script update. Development on the fourth film in the heist franchise was initially halted following the death of original star Bernie Mac, though it picked up steam in late 2023 when it was announced that he had completed the script and was trying to bring everyone back. During a recent interview E! at the red carpet premiere of their upcoming action comedy monstersAsked for an update on Clooney and Pitt Ocean 14progress. Clooney began to confirm once again that the script for the next film is readystating that the next step for the project will be to secure deals so that everyone can return to the deal:
George Clooney: Us [getting the band back together]. We've got a really good script and everyone's read it and they're ready to do it, so we're going to get down to business.
Hearing Clooney confirm that the script was ready, Pitt was at first surprised to learn this, but his co-star reminded him that he not only knew about it, he had even read it. Pitt was quick to admit that he remembers reading the script, esp Clooney reminded him that the two-time Oscar winner had death in the film, which he looked funny:

This Will Be The First Time To Include Life-or-Death Bets
Clooney has confirmed that there will be a character death in the next film as is sure to be a surprise to longtime fans of the franchise This will mark the first confirmed death in the country of the ocean series. That's not to say that the first three movies didn't have some stakes, just that Pitt's Rusty almost got blown up by Andy Garcia's Terry Benedict after watching the entire Ocean's cast. Ocean's Thirteen nearly delivered the series' first death when Elliott Gould's Ruben suffers a heart attack after being double-crossed by Al Pacino's Willy Banks, though he eventually recovers.
As for who will actually die Ocean 14Clooney noted that Pitt found it humorous may point to one of the franchise's past villainsincluding Terry, given what a villainous figure he is in all three films. However, both Mac and Carl Reiner have since passed away Ocean's Thirteenit's also entirely possible that Clooney has found a way, both meaningful and comedic, to send off his characters to explain their absence in the long-awaited sequel.
