Glen Powell Stops Harsh Ryan Gosling Comparison

Glen Powell and Ryan Gosling have had tremendous success over the past year, thanks in part to Gosling playing the lead role. In a recent interview WindingAn unnamed Hollywood producer has offered his thoughts on Powell's rising stardom after Gosling's decades of success in the showbiz industry.

“Glen Powell is definitely a rising movie star in the sense that audiences are now going to the cinema to see him,” the unnamed producer said. “Unlike an actor like Ryan Gosling, who has an appeal that is largely limited to female audiences, Glen appeals to both women and men.”

Powell did not like this comment and Hurricanes The star wasted no time in defending Gosling and his work in the industry over the years.

“Gosling is a legend. I'm just Glen,” Powell wrote to X on August 27.

His post reads as follows: Barbie The poster's tagline, which similarly makes Gosling the butt of the joke, is: “He's everything. Gosling himself has yet to respond to the comparison, but he likely doesn't need to, as Powell also acknowledges that the Canadian actor's work speaks for itself.
