As their leaders gather to discuss strategy, they pray fervently to Heracles, who helped the planet during the “Galactus Fright”. Others feel that the beggar is wasting his time and dismiss him. But Hercules answers the prayer.

After catching lightning in a bottle, quite literally, with Thor, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby turned their attention to the Greek and Roman pantheon.
