Emmy award-winning hit series Abbott Elementary School Returning for its fourth season on October 9th, the acclaimed cast is back for another unforgettable year at the beloved elementary school. As the series’ success grows with each season, the compensation its stars receive for their work continues to increase as well.
A new report Deadline is revealing the alleged season 4 salaries for its all-star cast of characters. The main cast, from creator Quinta Brunson to newest series regular William Stanford Davis, are all said to be getting a nice raise for the new school year; the increases are doubling, and sometimes even tripling, their previous salaries.
Quinta Brunson
It is said that the series' producer, Quinta Brunson, will receive an increase in her acting salary this season. Deadline The Emmy winner will reportedly earn $350,000 to $400,000 per episode for her role as young teacher Janine Teagues this season. Brunson also has an overall deal at Warner Bros. TV that will include her work as an executive producer on the series.
Tyler James Williams
Tyler James Williams, who won a Golden Globe for his role as teacher Gregory Eddie, is said to earn $250,000 per episode in season 4.
Sheryl Lee Ralph
Emmy winner Sheryl Lee Ralph is reportedly set to earn $250,000 per episode for her role as good-natured teacher Barbara Howard this season.
Janelle James
Comedian Janelle James, who plays the crazy principal Ava Coleman on the series, is reportedly earning $200,000 per episode this season.
Lisa Anne Walter
Lisa Ann Walter, who plays serious teacher Melissa Schemmenti in the series, is said to earn $200,000 per episode.
Chris Perfect
Chris Perfetti, who plays young teacher Jacob Hill, is said to be earning $200,000 per episode this season.
William Stanford Davis
William Stanford Davis has played the sarcastic janitor Mr. Johnson since the series' inception, but he appeared as a recurring character on the series before being promoted to the series' main character in season 2. The actor reportedly received a nice raise to $100,000 per episode in season 4.
