Hoka shoes rarely go on sale, but this summer the brand’s best hiking boots have been flooded with discounts on nearly a dozen of them, kicking off the next wave of style. Shoppers have flocked to two ultra-popular models—the Kaha 2 hiking boot and the Speedgoat 5 trail runner—but recently, an under-the-radar Hoka hiking boot that combines the best features of those two shoes went on sale for about $60 off.
Hoka’s Anacapa 2 Mid GTX Hiking Boots are finally on sale at REI for $136—a rare 30% discount off the regular price of $195. These ankle-high hiking boots have more than 50 five-star ratings from REI customers who say they’re “better than Speedgoats” and feel like they’re “walking on a cloud,” like the brand’s running shoes. They’re only available in one color, but all sizes 8 through 13 are still in stock, but we expect them to sell out soon.
