Over time, New York City has become a hub for superpowered humans and other creatures, making it the perfect place for Kraven to fight anyone – or anything – he can get his hands on. He successfully kidnaps a handful of Spider-Man’s greatest villains, and while some make out alive, others aren’t as lucky.

After Kraven arrives in New York City, he quickly starts snatching up bad guys to test and hunt. While he captures a surprising number of antagonists and antiheroes, the hunter only manages to kill four villains before finally reaching his demise in his battle against Venom.

Four might sound like a lot, but plenty of criminals are left for the Spider-Men to take down in the future, including some of the ones they helped escape from Kraven’s grasp.

Scorpion

Scorpion lays on the ground terrified

Scorpion played an important role in the first Spider-Man as part of the Sinister Six, but it doesn’t take long for Kraven to wipe him from the board. While Kraven kills other characters in the game, Scorpion is the only one you actually get to see happen in a brutal cutscene that perfectly showcases the hunter’s skills and strength.

After being captured, Scorpion is able to break out of his cage and take down a few henchmen before Kraven finally arrives. The two brawl briefly before Kraven snaps off the end of Scorpion’s tail and lethally stabs him with his own weapon.

Vulture

Later in the game, you’ll have the opportunity to investigate one of Kraven’s hideouts as MJ and discover that he has killed more than just Scorpion. It’s not a good sign when you stumble upon Vulture’s gear sitting on a table, but a conveniently placed voice recorder confirms that he has also been slain by Kraven.

It’s nice that Kraven likes to record his thoughts after a hunt, though the details of this brawl are mostly unknown. Kraven feared that Vulture’s wings would give him an advantage, but he was ultimately let down by the big bird’s performance.

Electro

Shortly after finding Vulture’s stuff, MJ will also find a table littered with Electro’s gear. It’s instantly clear that Electro is another victim of Kraven’s Great Hunt, and a small voice recorder sitting on the table confirms that Electro didn’t survive his trial.

There is very little information about this battle, but like Vulture, Kraven is disappointed by Electro’s performance. The hunter calls the villain a waste of his time but steals his technology anyway to see if he can use it somehow.

Shocker

Cash falls around Shocker in a bank

Shocker is the fourth and final villain that Kraven kills during his time in Spider-Man 2. Like the other three, it seems like the bad guy struggled to hold his own against Kraven despite being one of Spider-Man’s most formidable foes.

Kraven is slightly impressed with Shocker, which feels like a huge compliment compared to how easily he dismissed the other villains. Though Shocker fought hard, it wasn’t enough to save himself from Kraven’s wrath.
