Erina’s got a new plan to take the fight to Marie in Operation BOOM!, the fifth quest in Persona 5 Tactica. She and Morgana sneak into the enemy’s base to try and test a plan to use their own bombs against them.
Persona 5 Tactica: How To Complete Quest Four
Eliminating every enemy in a single turn is a satisfying puzzle to solve in this Persona 5 Tactica quest.
The purpose of this quest is to demonstrate your understanding of the bombs that are scattered around certain maps. The goal is to use the bombs to knock enemies out of cover and take them out with Triangle Attacks within three turns. You’re required to bring Morgana and Erina, but the third unit is optional. However, like other quests that require two members, the third member doesn’t really matter.
How To Beat Quest 5, Operation BOOM!
First Turn
First, you’ll want to have Morgana use Garu to knock the enemy behind the L-shaped cover vertically towards the enemy on the left. Then, have Erina shoot the bomb next to both enemies, triggering a One More.
At this point, you should be able to trigger a Triangle Attack, but don’t use it yet. Have your third unit shoot the bomb on the right, which should knock all the enemies into a neat little group.
Make sure you’re leaving your units under cover as best you can. You won’t always be able to do this but it’s good policy when triggering Triangle Attacks.
Now have Erina shoot the enemy that’s out of cover so she can get another turn, and position her to get all the enemies in a Triangle Attack.
Second Turn
The next turn, Erina should be able to hit the bomb on the other side of the tower that the large enemy and several smaller enemies are surrounding, and knock them away.
Have both Morgana and your third unit knock out the enemies near them to get one mores and then trigger the Triangle Attack with your third unit.
After that, have Morgana attack the other enemy in front of him and activate a second Triangle Attack, ending the turn. Leave Morgana by a bomb so that when the large enemy comes and attacks him, they will both be blown away.
Morgana should survive this because he has not taken any damage. However, if this does kill him, you may need to retry at a higher level.
Third Turn
On your third turn, have one of your units blow up the bomb near the large enemy, killing it and launching the other enemy out of cover. That one can be taken out by either your last two units on their own, or you can do a final Triangle Attack to finish them off.
With that, you’ve completed the last quest in the first Kingdom. If you’ve done all of them up to this point, you should receive a notification that you can now fuse Principality.
