Kicking off Pokemon Go’s latest season, Timeless Travels, will be their latest Raid Day Event, this time featuring Hisuian Samurott. Similar to previous Raid Days, the featured Pokemon will be making their Pokemon Go debut, giving all players several opportunities to add them to their collection.

The Hisuian Samurott Raid Day will only be a three-hour event, taking place on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 2pm to 5pm local time. In addition to this being the first time you can obtain Hisuian Samurott, there will be a handful of valuable bonuses that coming with this event, all detailed for you below.
Featured Pokemon: Hisuian Samurott
As mentioned above, Hisuian Samurott, the Dark and Water dual-type Pokemon making its debut, will be the featured Pokemon for this Raid Day. That means that for the three hours of this event, you can expect to see all Raid locations hosting Hisuian Samurott’s Three-Star Raid.
Although this is only a Three-Star Raid, it is still important to go into this battle with strong Hisuian Samurott counters, especially if you are attempting it on your own. In the case of this Raid, this means using strong Pokemon with Bug, Electric, Fairy, Fighting, or Grass-type attacks.
Another notable bonus for this Raid will be the increased odds of encountering a Shiny Hisuian Samurott following the successful completion of its Raid. It’s unclear when you will have the opportunity to encounter this Pokemon again in the future, so make sure you take advantage of this opportunity.
Event Bonuses
There will be two additional Raid Day-themed bonuses available to all players during the time of this event. Allowing you to participate in more Raids throughout this Raid Day, both of these bonuses are provided for you below.
- Obtain up to five extra free Raid Passes from visiting different Gyms and spinning their Photo Discs.
- Use up to 20 Remote Raid Passes from Saturday, December 2, at 4pm PST to Sunday, December 3, at 7pm PST.
Event Ticket
All players will have the opportunity to purchase the Hisuian Samurott Raid Day Event Ticket for this event, costing $5.00 USD at the in-game shop.
This paid ticket will provide purchasers with the following four additional event bonuses on Sunday, December 3, from 2pm to 10pm local time.
- Obtain up to eight additional free Raid Passes from Pokemon Gyms.
- Higher chances of receiving Rare Candy XL from completing Raids.
- Receive 50 percent more XP from successfully completing Raid battles.
- Receive twice the Stardust from successfully completing Raid battle.
