Many residents of the Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley used to have their own homes and businesses on Eternity Isle, but things didn’t go the best. Either The Forgetting made them abandon them, or business just didn’t boom, so it’s been left to ruin.

With Eternity Isle rediscovered and the Valley’s residents, many are flocking back to try and rebuild their businesses, and Scrooge is no different. He’s heard about the potential for a roaring business thanks to all the new arrivals, but his old store is ruined, and it’s up to you to get the materials he needs to repair it.
How To Unlock New Ventures (And Adventures)
Once you’ve completed The Port Of Many Worlds and reached Eternity Isle, interact with the broken Scrooge sign in front of the white and teal building on the island.
You’ll receive a Condemned Building Sign after interacting with the sign, and you’ll need it in your inventory to complete the quest.
Scrooge McDuck will teleport over to Eternity Isle and speak with you. It turns out he used to have a store on Eternity Isle in the past, but it didn’t work out well and fell into disrepair.
After a bit of convincing, Scrooge will agree to open the store back up, but he needs some materials to fix it, particularly some Copper, Pearls, and Quartz.
How To Open Scrooge’s Second Store
The three of the materials Scrooge is asking for can be found on Eternity Isle only, and a total of three nodes can be found around The Docks area: one near Scrooge’s store, one across from Goofy’s stall, and one at the main square in a crevice near the well.
Another three can be found in The Courtyard area if you’ve unlocked it during the Secrets of Eternity Isle quest. One is next to the Chez Remy building, one is near the large tree near Chez Remy, and the other is in the bottom right corner of The Courtyard, behind another large tree.
Potions like the Miracle Shovel Varnish and Miracle Pickaxe Polish can help you obtain the materials quicker by boosting the number of items dropped when digging or mining.

Once you’ve got the items, speak to Scrooge and hand over the materials to him. Head back to his second store and interact with the new sign out front, and for once, Scrooge won’t charge you a fee to open up his store.
Talk to Scrooge again, and he’ll reward you with 1,000 Star Coins and some Relationship Points if you haven’t reached level 10 with him.
