Army of the Dead
the franchise was quietly canceled and the future looked grim. - Snyder can put it together
Rebel Moon
A project to revive Ordu-Verse lore. - The daunting task of a crossover between the two franchises is not impossible, but it is a difficult task.
One of Zack Snyder's Netflix franchises has come to an unceremonious end, but I have an idea for how he could use another project to keep his shelved film series alive. With reports from Snyder's Army of the Dead With the franchise canceled, the future of the writer/director's horror universe looks pretty bleak. However, Snyder still has another active property on Netflix I think this could be instrumental in saving his current draft and raising the profile of his most recently defunct franchise. It's possible the plan isn't enough, but I believe it's Snyder's best hope.
Known as the Army-verse, Snyder's two zombie films were intended to be a sprawling saga, and news of its cancellation means that some future installments may now never see the light of day. Snyder is no stranger to franchises and sequelshowever, his direct involvement is often relatively short compared to some of his peers. That said, one of his own announcements about the two Netflix franchises could change that.

How to Save Snyder's Army of the Dead and Rebellion Shared Universe Franchises
Zack Snyder may still tell parts of the Army-Verse story in Rebel Moon
Snyder teased him, despite their different genres Set in the same universe as the Army-Verse franchise Rebel Moon. The director announced the character in the film Rebel Moon who puts together space opera Army verse. However, it only appears in one cartoon with the figure in question Ordu-Aya project, connection Rebel Moon remains as speculative as ever. On the other hand, I believe Snyder will have the final say on whether or not they share a law, and it appears they do. So an official crossover could raise the interest required to save them both.
Fortunately, a shared universe announcement with Snyder
Rebel Moon
means he could still bring the lore of the Army-Verse to life in a space opera, which I think could be pretty cool.
Although Rebel Moon 3 ostensibly confirmed, reception to the first two entries (four counting the extended cuts) has been lukewarm. Critics and fans were not very enthusiastic Rebel Moonand I agree that the franchise has been pretty weak and underwhelming so far. Of the two Snyder Netflix franchises, I would have thought the Army-verse would last longer, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Fortunately, A shared universe announcement with Snyder Rebel Moon meaning he can still revive the lore of Ordu-Verse In a space opera that I think could be very cool.
Why Addressing the Rebel Moon Army Is So Hard
Both Netflix franchises are very far from each other
Zack Snyder Army-Verse and says Rebel Moon Being set within the same continuity is one thing, but it's incredibly difficult for the two franchises to have a meaningful crossover chance. It will take a lot of creative writing to pull it off, but I don't think it's impossible. The biggest obstacle is that Ordu-Verse is set on Earth and in the very near future, however Rebel Moon It takes place far away from the solar system and far into the future.
Snyder explained that the origin of the zombie virus caught on Earth in the army films was on an inner planet.
Rebel Moon
lore.
So there's little chance that any characters from both franchises—at least the human ones—could meet. Speaking to Comic Book, Snyder explained that the zombie virus that took over Earth in the Army Verses movies had its origins in a planet within itself. Rebel Moon lore – even if it hasn't appeared on screen yet. It is interesting that Snyder has a plan that could merge the two franchises: “There's an interdimensional thing they're going through, so there's a chance for a weird mix-up.” This empty framework may be the only hope for the Army-Verse.
The future of Zack Snyder's Netflix franchises doesn't look good
A weak reception to Rebel Moon could mean she joins Army-Verse on the chopping block
Snyder's ambitious approach to both Netflix franchises may not have paid off on both counts. With only two Army-Verse films in the works, Zack Snyder's attempt to further the franchise has already failed, with Netflix pulling the plug on further films and TV shows under the Army-Verse banner. If he is particularly unhappy, It could have been Snyder Rebel Moon bite the dust too.

Like Army-Verse, there are still two Rebel Moon movies — though both have already received the Snyder Cut treatment. Unfortunately, the longer editions of the first two installments didn't address many of the concerns fans and critics had about the original versions—they were simply R-rated and longer. Their streaming numbers don't match the originals either. regardless of No official confirmation from Netflix yet Rebel Moon will continue or be cancelled, with Zack Snyder is working on being the only figure to announce the third film.
