Warning! Spoilers for Batman #153!I know it sounds crazy, but I'm pretty sure Batman's twisted new Captain America-As a rival, he is actually his long-lost “brother”. A new day has dawned for the DC Universe, and as Bruce Wayne begins to look into the future, his past comes back to haunt him.
You can say “Wait, Batman has a brother?” and the truth, perhaps. The New 52 introduced readers and Bruce not only to the mysterious Court of Owls, but also to a man known as Lincoln Mart, a potential nemesis connected to the Wayne Family. If I were a gambler, I would. Go to Gotham City say that the new vigilante who arrives is none other than Bruce's brother.
Commander Star arrives in Gotham to replace Batman
As Bruce Challenges His Control of Wayne Enterprises
In Batman #153 By Chip Zdarsky, Jorge Jiménez, Tomeu Morey, and Clayton Cowles, Bruce worked hard to improve his city. While parts of Old Gotham have been revitalized and turned into affordable housing, Wayne Enterprises faces backlash from protesters who frame Bruce's efforts as helping immigrants. To make matters worse, Rowan Birkemoe, the new CEO of Wayne Enterprises, reveals that the company's resources are stretched thin. However, Birkemoe actually works with the Riddler and after Rowan fails to convince Bruce to consider a merger, he suggests plan 'B'.
The Riddler has gone through some changes as seen in the Dark Prisons arc

After the meeting, Batman goes to stop a group of jewel thieves robbing a diamond warehouse. However, another protagonist on stage is a man dressed in a suit patterned after the American flag, armed with guns and arm knives. Commander Star helps Batman by shooting one of the thieves in the leg as he introduces himself.earning him Batman's hatred. But Star is met by Gotham's new police commissioner, Vandal Savage. After Savage urges him to be arrested, Batman escapes while Vandal approaches the new vigilante.
… someone challenged Bruce for half of his shares in Wayne Enterprises.
Batman discusses the city's newest vigilante with Leslie Thompkins, who assures Bruce that even with this new vigilante and the Riddler's new venture, Bruce is doing his best to make Gotham better. Unfortunately, Bruce's night takes a turn for the worse when he leaves Tompkins' clinic and is approached by Birkemoe at Bruce's house. Birkemoe informs Batman that someone has made a bid for half of his shares in Bruce Wayne Enterprises. But What really bothers Batman is when Birkemoe asks if he has a brother.
The Court of Owls is using its greatest assets to take over Gotham
Batman's Brother Will Replace Him
As I said, the New 52 revealed that Lincoln March was the alias of a man who believed himself to be Thomas Wayne Jr., an orphan groomed by the Court of Owls to replace Bruce Wayne. Although Bruce never definitively proved that March was his brother, there were enough details in his story that seemed to ring true. March has returned to haunt Batman several times over the years, though Bruce has never gotten any closer to the truth. After Bruce uses a freeze grenade on Lincoln, this Batman mystery seemed to be dead forever.
The first appearance of the Lincoln March is back
Batman Vol. 2 #1 (2011)
!
Granted, Commander Star could be anyone at this point. But with everything we've seen so far in this story, Lincoln would be the most likely choice. The Court of Owls has a large presence Batman #153 Through the mysterious Leonid, who wants the Riddler and his new company to continue unabated. Not to mention Rowan Birkemoe for Nygmatech's purchase of Wayne Enterprises. Throw in Court-backed Commissioner Savage, who instigates Star Commander just as the hero Gotham needs, and at the heart of it we have a conspiracy with the Court of Owls.
To be fair, March was the last time he was undead, and that was before Batman put him on ice. But for the Court of Owls, death is a concern. Plus, what better way to really stick it to the man who's been a thorn in his side for years than to take over Batman's company and replace him with a hero controlled by the Court of Owls? This new story arc just started, but I can't see a scenario where Star Commander isn't Batman's brother.
Commander Star There is Being Lincoln March
Time to settle this Plot Point once and for all
While the Lincoln March may not be every fan's cup of tea, I think it's a great time to bring it back. After all, it was never confirmed if March was actually Thomas Wayne Jr. His return to Gotham as a demented Homeland riff on Batman is pretty unique, and if it really is March under the stars and stripes, we're finally hoping to get an answer on whether or not he's related to the Caped Crusader. Although I don't know for sure that DC is the new badCaptain Americais Batman's bro i feel he really is.
