Mediterranean below deck Season 9 chef Jonathan Shillingford was called out for being a factory, but I'm sure it gets special treatment because of its factory status. Chef Jono has been working at Mustique throughout Mediterranean below deck season 9, but his time on the superyacht hasn't been easy or without problems. Chef Jono's food may be higher than most chefs, but his time in Mustique has made him look like a factory. The chef's future was in doubt as he was reprimanded by the captain several times this season.


Chef Jono started out on hard times in Mustique, but his time has passed Mediterranean below deck there have been a number of ebbs and flows. The first charters of the season were difficult, but he was able to level himself in the second half of the charter season. As the internal and external crews began to split in their own ways during the charter season, Chef Jono was able to work a little harder and provide the guests with the right food. After such a poor performance Chef Jono's splash back makes it feel like a factory.

In their first charters Below deck The Mediterranean Sea season 9, it was clear that Chef Jono was in over his head. Chef Jono struggled to become the chef that Mustique needed to thrive, creating dishes that didn't fit the dietary preferences or restrictions of his charter guests. While Cpatin Sandy had some conversations with Esnak about his future at Mustique and the best ways to improve, Chef Jono was able to find his place without too much discipline. He was able to perform so well in later-season regulations that it was forced or faked.

In one of his latest episodes Mediterranean below deck In season 9, Chef Jono had another big fight when he failed to read the main guest's preference sheet carefully. The guest said they couldn't eat raw fish due to their health condition, but on a requested sushi night, Jono served raw fish directly to the guest. At least the damage is done. Captain Sandy explained that serving raw fish to a guest with a raw fish allergy is a felony. and began making arrangements to bring in a new chef.

Although Captain Sandy called in to replace Chef Johno, things did not go as smoothly as he would have liked. With no cook to step in and take his place, Captain Sandy had to keep Jono on staff for the time being. I believe it Chef Jono was almost confirmed as a factory because he was able to escape unharmed after starting a fire.. It is possible that the chef was only retained due to lack of availability, but Mediterranean below deck the chef feels like he's been on too much show to be real.
