Indie horror hit “Crow Country” sells over 100,000 copies

Horror title inspired by PlayStation 1 Land of Crows has sold 100,000 copies since May. A week later Land of CrowsDuring the release on Nintendo Switch, London-based developer SFB Games announced that it had reached an impressive milestone.

Two-thirds of copies sold were via Steam, while the rest were split between PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.

“100,000 copies in less than 6 months are far beyond our wildest expectations Land of Crows!” said Tom Vian of SFB Games, via press release. “It's been incredible to see so many people enjoying the game and recommending it to each other, especially now in the lead-up to Halloween. Thank you so much to everyone who has played so far!”

Count the crows

The news arrives the same week Land of Crows arrives on PS4. SFB Games, previously known for the Nintendo Switch launch title Snipperclips: Cut it together is a studio that includes brothers Tom and Adam Vian.

2024 was a big year for indies, with titles like Palworld, Animal well AND Balatro all becoming huge hits.
