Actor Macaulay Culkin got into the Halloween spirit this year by poking fun at a joke in the sports world: the resemblance between himself and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
On October 30, Culkin posted to Instagram in his Burrow costume, complete with a Bengals jersey and his signature orange and black striped helmet. “The game begins” Home Alone The star captioned the photo. He bluntly told Burrow in the comments: “The ball is in your court, Joey B.”

Burrow caught wind of that look and called out to the post. “Touché sir. Touché,” the Pro Bowl alum wrote. She later took to Instagram Stories to continue the praise. “Touché is the so-called doppelgänger,” he wrote.

The two's physical resemblance had been on Burrow's mind for some time. When he was asked who would portray him in a movie in 2022, he told reporters that he was told he looked like Culkin. USA Today.
In response to the costume, Burrow's teammate Ja'Marr Chase praised the actor for the outfits, but wasn't entirely convinced the two were twins.
“The hair was there,” Chase said of Culkin's costume. “The hair was definitely there. He took it off. But I mean, he's only missing his shoulder pads, his trousers and his cleats. But it's there.” When asked if the two looked alike, he replied, “No.”
It remains to be seen whether Burrow will dress up as one of Culkin's beloved characters for this year's Halloween costume.
