Although many assumed that Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad game was going to be dead in the water after its poor marketing and multiple delays, it seems to have made a bit of a comeback in the past few months and generated a fair amount of buzz. A lot of that can be attributed to the closed beta signups that went live last week and give select players access to the game starting later today.

As you’d expect, the release of the closed beta has also caused some datamining of the game to take place. In this case, the dataminer in question is mmmmmmmmiller, who some of you might know from his days digging into the files of Marvel’s Avengers. It looks like mmmmmmmmiller’s superhero insider streak is about to continue, as they’ve already shared some interesting information about Kill the Justice League.

The biggest bit of news that mmmmmmmmiller has discovered so far is the identity of one of the game’s post-launch characters. According to several tweets made from them last night, the next confirmed character that will be coming to the game is Killer Croc, who appeared in all three of Rocksteady’s Arkham games, eventually even losing his hand in Arkham Knight.

Although Miller at first seemed to indicate that Killer Croc was going to be the first post-launch character added to the game, he later said that he’s found evidence of two other unrevealed characters and was no longer sure that Croc was definitively the fifth one that will be made playable.

Even if we don’t know when Killer Croc is going to be added to Kill the Justice League, Miller does at least seem sure that he’s going to be joining the game at one point or another. As for the other characters, we don’t know their identity just yet or have any clues as to who they might be, but considering the closed beta test starts in just a few hours, it’s likely that we’ll hear more about them soon.
