UK Publisher The kwalee launched a Arabic language edition of its Hitseeker mobile gaming platform for studios in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
For creators in that part of the world, it is possible to use the platform and its resources in their native language (or in English). Beginner developers can also access tools such as a library that covers fundamental skills and concepts.
Hitseeker “simplifies” the development process for mobile studios and allows them to test, publish, and optimize games. The partnership will also help Kwalee support the “emerging” MENA gaming industry, which is said to be worth $10 billion by 2026.
It also relies on a development and publishing deal with Fahy Studios. The deal was finalized in late 2023, and additional support has been provided to studios in the LevelUp accelerator program.
According to John Wright, vice president of mobile publishing at Kwalee, the Arabic equivalent of Hitseeker fills a need for developers in the MENA region and will help them “stay in the spotlight and reach their full potential.”
“Hitseeker… is our way of reaching out and offering that guidance,” he continued. “We are the publishing partner that will support developers with the expertise and support they need to bring their games to the global stage.”
