Lifeline offers subscribers a discount on monthly telephone service, broadband Internet service or integrated broadband voice packages purchased through participating line or wireless service providers. The discount helps ensure that low-income consumers can afford 21st century broadband and the access it provides to jobs, health care and educational resources.

🔵Who is Lifeline available for?

To participate in the Lifeline program, consumers must have an income that is less than or equal to 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or participate in certain federal assistance programs, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, Assistance Federal Public Housing, Supplemental Security Income, the Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit, or certain tribal programs.
