Aside from the main symbiotes like Venom and Carnage, the others always blend together without enough individuality to make them memorable. But now, that's about to change, as Marvel's wild new symbiote team finally delivers Poison learn your own “Avengers”.
In Venom War: Deadly Guardians #1 Sabir Pirzada and Luca Maresca are recruited by Silver Sable and his Wild Pack to enter the Life Foundation lab and secure a “package” of great importance to their client. Considering that this work is ongoing The poison war – meaning that populated areas are being invaded by dead symbiote monsters called zombiots – The Wild Pack is made. Each member of the Wild Pack was given their own symbiote, familiar to Venom fans.
Each symbiote is one of five symbiotes forcibly created by the Life Foundation in Venom's early days. A deadly protector 90s series: Riot, Phage, Lasher, Agony and Scream – with the addition of a new symbiote, Flicker. However, unlike their previous appearances in the Marvel Comics canon, this time around these symbiotes will finally be memorable as an Avengers-like symbiote cast.

The current members of Silver Sable's Wild Pack are: Puma, Lightbright, Tarantula, Carl Stricklan, and Lina Abbas (after the death of last member Navwab Tadjwar), plus Silver Sable herself. Granted, these aren't the most A-list characters in Marvel Comics, but that doesn't mean they're any less interesting, especially when it comes to their personal symbiotes.
Wild Pack members such as Tarantula and Puma have pre-existing superpowers enhanced by and integrated into the symbiotes' physical forms, altering their appearance and differentiating them in terms of abilities. Not only that, but the symbiote with Silver Sable, for example, changed completely, as it evolved into something completely new with Agony: the Silver Symbiote.
In other words, the bonding process that fans see here is unique, with symbiotes forming into their hosts like never before, and the results are spectacular. Each symbiote brings something different to the table, from looks to abilities, something that has been sorely lacking in symbiote teams in the past (including with these symbiotes in their original team form).

While this team is still technically Silver Sable's Wild Pack, the symbiote upgrades they've launched are called “Deadly Protector Mod,” which is a perfect name for the symbiote team going forward. These symbiotes made their debut Venom: Deadly Protector #4 as Venom's enemies while known as the Deadly Protector (in his early days as an antihero). Now the symbiotes have come full circle, becoming the Deadly Guardians themselves long after Venom relinquished that title, reclaiming their villainous past to become a team of heroes like the Avengers.
These symbiotes are familiar but underused, they have a rich history in Marvel Comics lore with a team name that reflects this, and their modern designs and superhuman hosts make them more interesting than ever.
