Mike Tyson Admits Using Psychedelics for Jake Paul Fight

At this point in his boxing career, Mike Tyson has nothing to prove, so his highly anticipated fight with Jake Paul is largely for fun. While Tyson takes his training seriously, he also has fun in the gym.

In a recent interview with Jake's brother Logan Paul Callous Tyson talked about his training process on his podcast, revealing that he incorporates psilocybin mushrooms into his workout routine.

“I have to take them with me when I train. I train with my mushrooms all the time,” Tyson said.

When asked why he takes psychedelic drugs before working hard in the gym, Tyson answered honestly.

“I train with mushrooms because it makes me feel beautiful. It takes me to heaven, baby,” she stated bluntly.

This isn't the first time Tyson has spoken out about his psychedelic use. In 2021, he recounted his experiences drinking the venom of a Sonoran Desert toad.

As for his big match against Jake Paul, Tyson didn't deny that he might have some psilocybin in his system.

“Maybe,” he said when asked if he would be “on the mushrooms” during the fight. “Even if I’m not on the mushrooms, [residual effects] “Mushrooms.”

Tyson and Paul will face off in the ring on November 25.
