Subway service on the N, Q, R and W lines was “severely disrupted” in both directions Monday morning as emergency responders assisted a person struck by a train at the 14th Street-Union Square station, according to the MTA.
Southbound N, Q and R trains were not stopping at the station, with N and Q train making local stops from the 34th Street-Herald Square to Canal Street stops, the MTA said. W train service was suspendedin both directions.
No N or W service was available in Queens, the transit authority said, recommending passengers take the 7, E or F lines to get between Queens and Manhattan.
For service between Brooklyn and Manhattan, the MTA recommended taking the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D or F trains.
