Former Scopely and Unity developers have founded new studio together, Outer Haven Games.
Based in California, the five-person team is already busy developing its debut project, a role-playing game called Techno Hell. It is also currently assume for an art director and a development engineer.
Heading the respective product and business side of Outer Haven are Austin Ashcraft AND Stephen FongAshcraft helped launch and grow Star Trek: Fleet Command at Scopely, while Fong headed Unity's sales and strategy department.
Meanwhile, Dead Space and Call of Duty Advanced Warfare writer Chuck's BeaverNarrative Designer at Scopely Kevin CullenAND Voodoo Detective musician Eric Ackerman constitute the studio's main creative talent.
Outer Haven marks the third new studio to spring up in July. Last week, a trio of former Pixelberry developers formed Candlelight Games; earlier this month, veterans of the now-defunct Pirahna Bytes founded Pithead Studio.
