Nikki Glaser Criticizes Aaron Rodgers for His Savage Nickname on 'TNF'

Comedian Nikki Glaser on Prime Video Thursday Night Football postgame show, following his headline-grabbing jokes during a Tom Brady episode airing on Netflix earlier this year. And while no one is safe from Glaser's vitriolic barbs, he saved his wildest material for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers following the team's victory over the New England Patriots.

“There was a real war between New York and Boston, cities where you could get stabbed in a parade,” the 40-year-old joked during the episode titled “Last Minute Songs with Nikki Glaser,” adding, “Met Life Stadium was packed with 82,000 of New Jersey's single dads.”

“The Jets really needed a win tonight, because the Jets are a lot like Bruce Springsteen,” Glaser continued. “They're based in New Jersey, and they've spent the last four decades making grown men cry. And they were playing their archrivals, the New England Patriots — the only thing Ben Affleck could commit to.”

Glaser then turned to Rodgers, who was sidelined all of last season with an Achilles tendon injury.

“The Jets have a new quarterback now, Aaron Rodgers, or as I like to call him, Throw Rogan,” he joked. “It's ironic that he goes on silent retreats because he can't stop talking about it. But he's fun, you know he lives in New York, he's always on his friends' podcast, he seems like the kind of guy who buys beer for young people. I'm surprised I even dated him, to be honest.”

Glaser concluded by saying that the Jets may have scored more points in the 3-24 game, but “the Patriots are the real winners because they got out of New Jersey.”
