One Piece teases its most tragic character yet can get the happy ending he deserves.

One Piece just said that her most tragic character could still get the happy ending she deserves, and fans couldn't be happier with the decision. while One Piece has multiple tragic backstories, the Egghead Arc single-handedly established Bartholomew Kuman as one of the most tragic characters in the series, and the final chapter hints that he and Bonnie may still have a chance at happiness.


In Chapter 1126 a piece Kuma and Bonney appear on the Giant Pirates' ship. As giants and straw hats continue to feast, Bonney notes that she and Kuma are finally out to sea together and I got to see the horizon with Kuma silently smiling in response.

One Piece's Egghead Arc was full of surprises at every turn, though it was Kuma's backstory and tragic relationship with Bonney, another notable member of the Worst Generation before Egghead, that completely blew fans away. The arc shed a new light on the Sea Warlord, with fans unanimously agreeing that Kuman is one of the most tragic characters in One Piece.

Ever since Kuma's tragic history was revealed, fans have been wanting him and Bonnie to reunite and make it out of Egghead safely, which luckily they did. Although it was just a single panel of Kuma smiling, chapter #1126 finally gave fans some closure with just that one expression, and after everything Bonney and Kuma have been through, it's totally worth it. it was a relief to see the two of them smiling again.


More than anything, it's nice to see that Eiichiro Oda didn't forget to wrap up Bonney and Kuma's arc despite everything going on in the story with Elbaf on the horizon.

Vegapunk hopes for Kuma's survival
