Beetlejuice Beetlejuice presents a new version of the main character that is so chaotic, funny and strange that only filmmaker Tim Burton could have invented it. After numerous failures, Burton is finally back with the long-awaited sequel to the beloved Michael Keaton film. Tim burton movies have a clear aesthetic, tone and styleand Beetlejuice 2 not an exception.
Like the first movie, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Lydia follows the twisted story of the Dietz family as they bring back the eponymous bio-exorcist to save Dietz's daughter Astrid from a vile spirit. The visuals best reflect the director's kitschy and gothic style, building on the Neitherworld that viewers learned about in the original film. On top of these elements, Beetlejuice 2 includes a memorable gag with a new version of Betelgeuse so unconventional that only Tim Burton and his creative team could have thought it up.

Baby Betelgeuse Appears Twice in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice contains numerous hilarious and memorable moments, but Baby Betegeuse is one of the best gags. Lydia giving birth to a baby is one of the scariest moments in the film. The fact that he looks like a mini Betelgeuse gives the moment an element of humor combines horror, fantasy and comedy.
As well as being funny, this opens the door for a version of Betelgeuse not played by Michael Keaton.
Baby Betelgeuse is funny in that one scene, but the end Beetlejuice 2 In Lydia's nightmare, Astrid gets her gag back when she gives birth to a monster. The Beetlejuice Baby Shares Elements of Past Tim Burton Designs
The Beetlejuice 2 Team used a practical design for Baby Betelgeuse
Part of the reason is minor Beetlejuice 2 the character is such a memorable gag that he fits right in with Tim Burton's past designs. Instead of creating Baby Betelgeuse with CGI, creature effects creative supervisor Neal Scanlan took inspiration from the first film, creating the character through practical design. Speaking to SlashFilm, Burton explained the process of making the doll. He said:
“We went to a toy store and bought some dolls and cut them up. See, that was the fun of making the movie. Obviously, we sculpted the thing, but we actually took a baby from the store and put some wires on it. It made it move.”
Along with a hands-on approach to designing Baby Betelgeuse, Scanlan used elements of Tim Burton's animated characters – most importantly, the eyes. Small irises and pupils compared to the pupils are common features. Eyeballs on it Beetlejuice Beetlejuice the baby is as bulging as the insides Corpse Bride, Frankenweenieand The Nightmare Before Christmas. Finally, the new version of “Ghost, which is the most” reminiscent of Tim Burton's old work, making it perfect for fans of the director.
