The On Cloudgo Road Running Shoes are currently on sale for just $112, a significant savings from the regular $150 price tag. These are a great example of what makes the On running shoes so beloved: They have a lightweight, comfortable feel and a good amount of bounce. More than 60 REI reviewers gave them five stars, including one seasoned runner who called them “absolutely phenomenal.” These are still available in sizes 8 through 13 in Black/Glacier, but we’re betting that won’t be the case for long.

The secret behind these shoes is the materials, all of which are high-quality and lightweight. There’s the Helion foam that balances responsiveness and comfort, the signature TPU Speedboard for soft landings and explosive takesoffs, and the eponymous CloudTech cushioning that’s gentle on muscles and joints. The style is sporty without the noise that comes with many colorful models, so it’s quite suitable for fans of the monochrome look or even those looking for comfort in the business-casual office.
One reviewer, who described himself as a “flat-footed, well-conditioned 65-year-old athlete,” said that this shoe is “an innovative, neutral, lightweight training shoe with an incredible, comfortable, cushioned ride,” even for those prone to plantar fasciitis. For “easy miles and daily workouts,” they said, “I highly recommend this incredible shoe.”

Another reviewer, on their second pair of Ten running shoes, said the shoes wear well but are also great right out of the box. “I have a pair from this brand that are over five years old and they’ve gotten a lot of wear from being worn like socks… but they’re durable and comfortable and still last.” This new pair, while clearly not wearing much, “looks good, wears well, and feels like you’re walking on air.”
