Berger's comments make this clear not related to the director Ocean 14. Based on Clooney's past comments about the script, a sequel is in the works, but it's still very early on with Berger or another director confirmed to be on board yet. A lot has to happen behind the scenes beforehand Ocean 14 has been officially announced, which will likely include more returns of the ocean members outside of Clooney and Pitt alone.

Although it was disappointing to learn of reports of Berger's involvement Ocean 14 not true knowing he's not involved sheds more light on the film's current state. Berger is an excellent filmmaker and it looks like he has another critical hit on his hands Conclavewhich currently has a critical score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Ocean 14 It would likely have a different tone than its predecessors with him in the lead, but the sequel will instead have to come from the creative vision of another director who will tell the story of Danny Ocean's next heist.
