After almost four years, Digital Sumo is putting Hood: Outlaws and Legends behind bars and closing it on February 18, 2025.
The Robin Hood-based PvEvP game was released in May 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Series X|S. After the February release date, the studio said the game (and its various editions and add-ons) will “no longer be accessible.”
“This was a difficult but necessary decision, and we understand it may be disappointing,” Sumo wrote. “The Hood The teams thank you so much for your support and dedication during this incredible adventure.”
On October 16, digital and physical sales of Hood will cease. Players who purchased it two weeks prior to today (September 24) will be offered a full refund until sales end on the 16th.
“We loved every part of it [making the game]”, Sumo concluded, “and we hope your memories of Hood: Outlaws and Legends will be as precious as ours.”
