From that moment on, the theater experience gave me the impression of how valuable and how important this thing is. I always thought of it as a theatrical film. We showed it in theaters and I think this is the best way to see it. This is funny. It is full of twists and turns. I tried to do some interesting things visually, and I still think the best way to see it is in theaters.

You want the film to be seen, and if you're maximizing people actually being able to see a film, I think that's good—I've seen a lot of movies on VHS that really influenced me because I grew up in a small town. Colorado, so we didn't have those movies in theaters. But for me, theater experience still comes first. It's up to the people who can make those decisions to put them in theaters for people to see, and just make sure people see them. People want to go to the cinema. People love movies.
