Police looking for man who allegedly stabbed 3 people in Queens

Police said on Wednesday that they were searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed three people in two separate incidents that occurred just blocks apart in Hillcrest, Queens over two days this week.

According to NYPD officials, a man wearing a gray or green hoodie and blue face mask approached a 34-year-old woman just after midnight on Tuesday as she got off the bus near 158th Street and 134th Avenue, stabbing her once in the torso in an unprovoked attack.

The woman was transported to an area hospital in stable condition, while the suspect fled eastbound on foot on 134th Avenue, officials said.

Then, around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a 911 call about two men who were stabbed on the corner of 134th Avenue and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard, located four blocks from Tuesday’s incident.

Officers arrived to find a 74-year-old man stabbed in the abdomen and a 31-year-old man stabbed in the back. Both were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

It was not immediately clear if the men knew the suspect, but police described him as wearing the same clothes he was seen wearing the day before.

This is a developing story and may be updated.
