Pop musician Tate McRae poses topless (and bottomless) in the video for her latest single, “It’s OK I’m OK,” showing off her curves in a video that also sees the “Greedy” singer arrested for public nudity.
The Canadian singer-songwriter began her rise after placing third in season 13. So You Think You Can Dance?but it wasn't until the release of “Greedy” on September 13, 2023, that she truly emerged as a pop star. The song marked McRae's biggest debut on Spotify to date and her first number-one single worldwide when it entered the Billboard Global 200.
Now, almost exactly a year later, McRae has released a video for her latest single, “It's OK I'm OK.” The song's lyrics show the musician baring her soul and coming to terms with her sudden fame, but in the video, McRae reveals so much more. In addition to the half-dozen or so skimpy outfits McRae wears in the video, she often performs intricate and sensual choreography, with the singer stripping completely naked in a scene where she is arrested for public nudity.
The scene comes early in the video, when McRae is walking down the streets of New York City and sees an alternate (and naked) version of herself being detained by two police officers. As the officers attempt to force her into the vehicle and cover her with a coat, McRae presses herself against the windows and blows kisses to the audience.
McRae discussed the song's origins in an interview on September 12. Rolling stonerevealed that he finished it just a few weeks ago. “It started with a conversation where I was like, 'It's okay, I'm good,' and we said, 'This would be a crazy pop song.' I finished it four weeks ago and turned it into a fun pop song and made the music video.”
