Europlayer layoffs reported to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Rocksteady studio.
On Monday, the outlet said that the developer’s QA team had effectively been cut in half from 33 employees to 15. Other departments were affected, though the total number of layoffs was unclear at the time of writing.
Those laid off included junior and tenured staff. Senior management reportedly acknowledged that product quality would “suffer” as QA, which included employees with “specialized knowledge,” was cut.
Sources told Eurogamer that poor sales of the anti-hero shooter were a direct reason for the cuts. Warner Bros. Discovery has it has been opened on the game's poor commercial performance, even recently last month.
