Another edit has been introduced to Steam user reviews. Starting today, reviews will be marked with a symbol to show that the reviewer has played “primarily” on Steam bridge.
The icon is presented on the right side of the banner, and Steam Deck playtime can be revealed by hovering over it. However, there is currently no way to categorize user reviews by handheld or PC usage.
The Importance of Steam Deck
Next to its current (and future) iterations, Steam Deck's importance is reflected in its monthly rankings of the most popular games, which include most played games on the device.
For developers, the Steam Deck icon is supposed to help curious players try out their verified (or semi-verified) game. Other titles are marketed as Ready for the bridge before release, while old games can find new life now that they are playable everywhere.
Between that and graphic tracking For Steam Deck games, the device is becoming increasingly important to the Steam ecosystem.
