Superman and Lois star Alex Garfin shares whether James Gunn would be open to joining the DC Universe after four seasons as Superboy.
in an exclusive interview with Screen Rant to encourage Superman and Lois 4 seasons, Gunn's DC Universe came up when Garfin was asked if he would be interested in joining the new franchise if called.. Garfin who is together Superman and Lois She shared what roles she wanted to play after being with Jordan Kent from the start, adding:
Alex Garfin: If I had gotten that call, it would have been a different story. Obviously, in theory in reality, the characters I'd really like to play are probably something a little closer to myself now. I had to play it very quiet, very sophisticated [character,] it's great and I'm very grateful to play it, but I'd love to be a little more extroverted like myself and try to show some range here. I can't talk about it, but I really got very close to such a project. It didn't work, but there it is. So what I'm going to do right now is probably something more along the lines of what James Gunn would write.
I know it makes comics look a little more like a comic book. He did it beautifully in the rare Suicide Squad. I watched a comic book movie. I know he did it with Guardians of the Galaxy. There's fun to it. So I wouldn't mind if I got the call to try to do something similar and things were a little more James Gunn-y. But still, there are many actors out there and I would like to give someone else a chance.
