Ted Lasso Season 4 receives a filming update from a WB executive, though no official update has been announced. After more than a year of silence, it was announced in August that Apple TV+, the studio behind the Emmy-winning sports comedy, and Warner Bros. TV, they were taking the first steps to renew Ted Lasso 4 seasons. The first of these steps is said to have been WB TV's choice of actors from the British Actors Guild, namely Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Roy Kent. They play Rebecca Welton, Roy Kent and Leslie Higgins respectively.
Deadline reports that no Ted Lasso the actors are yet to return. However, Warner Bros. Television Group Chairman and CEO Channing Dungey noted that WB TV and other producers are looking at potential shooting dates. His comments came while attending Warner Bros. Television Group's Fall TV Season Celebration, and Dungey struck an optimistic tone about the return of the Apple TV+ hit in the following short quote:
“We're only in early production talks, but it's exciting.”
New Episodes May Be On The Way, But The Cast And Crew Won't Say
Goldstein, following initial reports of picking options in Waddingham and Swift, noted in a separate update that Phil Dunster would not return as Jamie Tartt as a series regular for season 4 due to scheduling conflicts with other series. However, he may return as a guest star. The update, however, proves that there is movement in keeping in touch Ted Lasso pour and see who is available.
August's preliminary report, after contacting actors with SAG-AFTRA contracts, The next goal will be to open the writers room and potentially begin filming in 2025. But in recent interviews, Waddingham and Goldstein downplayed the report about the show's future, insisting they had no major news to share.

It's a bit confusing
Comedy is one of the biggest shows on TV and easily Apple TV+'s biggest success story. It's a little baffling that Steamboat hasn't tied down at least some of the cast for potential spinoffs. Although the main series could not continue without the title Ted LassoNot long after season 3 ended, there should have been more clarity about the way forward. It's been over a year now, but developments are finally moving forward.
